Automation of order fulfilment on magento2 and prestashop.

We have two website, one based on magento2 and one based on prestashop. The project purpose is to automate order fulfillment process, final purpose is to have a system for which we can have all products with a unique code and, in the fulfillment moment, we have also to print shipping label (we’re italian based). Basically we have to speed up and to minimize error on our shipment process, we can surely do it with an erp but we’ve not idea where to start.
