Needed: Patch Management Engineers, Tanium Familiarity Preferred

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patch Management Engineer, with a deep understanding of Tanium, to join our team. You will be responsible for implementing and managing our patch management program, leveraging Tanium's capabilities to ensure timely and secure patching across our entire IT infrastructure. Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage our patch management program based on Tanium.
• Create and maintain patching policies and procedures.
• Develop and execute patching schedules for various operating systems and applications.
• Monitor and analyze patching activity, identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Investigate and resolve patching-related incidents.
• Generate reports and provide insights on patching effectiveness and efficiency.
• Stay updated on patching best practices and Tanium features.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of patching with other security and operational processes.
• Continuously improve the patch management program to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in patch management, preferably using Tanium.
• Proven experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Tanium, including experience with Tanium modules relevant to patch management such as Patch, Inventory, and Execution.
• Experience with other endpoint management tools is an advantage.
