I am giving below the tools, techniques and tactics for excelling in your internal assignments,
(Country report), which carries 100 marks @ 40+30+30 marks each. All presentations shall
be in the Ppt slides only. Max 15 slides per assignment, max 30 words per slide, with
appropriate pic/photo/chart/other illustrations. The words in the slides have to be self-
authored by the student, not copy-pasted please. Every slide must carry the student’s full
name & roll number in a small sized font in the left side bottom corner. On the right-side
bottom corner, the slide number/out of the total……for Eg 2/14, should be given to establish
continuity and sequence of understanding by the student. Needless to say, the presentations
have to be world class both in aesthetics and in subject matter.
The three assignments are modular in a continuously progressive format named
S L E P T- W Analyses, of the country allotted to each student.
Assignment-1: The first slide shall be “Welcome to (Country name)” showing the location of
the country in the world map, its flag, it’s most important visual symbol, student’s face-photo,
full name & roll number.
Following 3 to 4 slides will show political/geological/industrial/Airports-Ports-Railways/other
relevant maps. Brief politico-military history ie time line in chronological order. What are the
geological and medical risks faced so far?
SOCIO-CULTURAL scenarios: Languages (Official & dialects), Religions (& their levels of
orthodoxy, racial tolerance), Aesthetics (Including art forms/fashion/cinema/other
entertainment, etc), Values, Social mannerisms & Official behaviour including dress code,
Staple cuisine, Material Culture, Structure of the society & well known personalities….
famous and/or notorious. Famous personalities if any.
LEGAL aspects: Enactment of Constitution, Public Laws (includes media laws if any), Rules,
Regulations, Judicial system(s), Law enforcement authorities like the cadre of Police, Flow
chart of hierarchy of courts, compliance to International Court of Justice (ICJ) in Hague,
Various Trade Blocs, International Maritime Organisation (IMO), International Air Transport
Authority IATA, WTO/WB/IMF Protocols etc.
Submission on or before 5 th January 2023.
