Hackathon project and community manager
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
Essteem organizes hackathons for Equality - "Equalithons" - as well as other volunteering events that impact social and environmental causes.
We have a community of 1000 technologists and are looking for support to organize more events with more partners and sponsors.
We need the support of a freelancer who can autonomously work with us every morning US time, for 4 hours, every day. We require the ability to communicate as we need through impromptu meetings, WhatsApp texts and calls.
Skills:
- perfect English skills is the most important
- great visual design skills for social posts and event picture-making
- working with data: vlookups, excel sheets or airtable documents
- experience working with CRM or and HR ATS tools
- experience working as a community manager or / and experience organizing events
- reporting skills: dashboard creation, PowerPoint presentations for expressing our impact through datapoints and stories
- excellent verbal English skills needed for interviews with our community
- a computer science background is not necessary but an understanding of new technologies, and app development projects is a plus
