I have to give a speech for a class this afternoon. I need a PowerPoint deck for my speech. I am blinfd. I cannot use PP, even with my screen reader app.
Here is my outline. There are 9 slides. The text for the slides is included. It would be cool if we could find a few cool clipart samples to stick in there:
General Goal: Inform the audience about the Accessibility features on an iPhone.
Thesis Statement: As a blind person at a time where most (if not all) professionals use smart phones, it is imperative that the user be familiar with the accessibility features of their smart phone. This enables them to be “connected” at all times (like their colleagues).
Attention getter: I will introduce the subject of how a blind person can use a smart phone. I will be holding my iPhone, logged in and ready to go. Many people have expressed curiosity about how I am able to be productive using a computer without sight. I will demonstrate this with my iPhone.
