Change Management is the ability to support a change initiative that has been mandated within the organization. It involves helping the organization’s members understand what the change means to them, and providing the ongoing guidance and support that will maintain enthusiasm and commitment to the change process. People with this competency willingly embrace and champion change. They take advantage of every opportunity to explain their vision of the future to others and gain their buy-in.
As a Business Systems Analyst you introduce changes to established processes. The project team relies on the BA to understand the impact of the change on the organization and to help minimize the negative impact.
Question 1: Tell us about a time you had to implement changes to an established process. Tell us specifically what your approach was to planning the change and how did you overcome resistance to the changes? What was the outcome? What did you learn from the experience?
Please Note: When answering, you might want to consider the “STAR” formula in your response.
