PowerApps and power query Workflow Automation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an end-to-end approval solution built with PowerApps and Power Automate. The app should let a user submit a request, trigger an approval flow, and return the final decision to the requester automatically.
The workflow itself will live in Power Automate; the user interface will be a clean, responsive PowerApps app. I also want the underlying data shaped through Power Query so the completed approvals can be surfaced later for reporting without manual cleanup.
Deliverables
• Canvas app (.msapp) that captures the request, shows live status, and works on desktop and mobile
• One or more Power Automate flows (.zip export) handling every stage of the approval, notifications, and status updates
• Power Query steps (or .pbit / .pq files) that transform the approval log for easy analysis
• Short hand-over document and screen-share recording explaining how to modify the app, connectors, and queries
Acceptance criteria
– A requester can submit, track, and receive the final approval result in under a minute of interaction
– Approvers are notified in Outlook or Teams, can approve/decline in one click, and comments are stored
– All actions are logged, errors are surfaced to the user, and the solution clears PowerApps checker with no critical issues
