PowerApps Production Data Entry

I want to replace the paper / Excel workflow we currently use to record daily production output with a single canvas app built in Microsoft Power Apps. The app should present operators with a clean, form-based screen where they can enter shifts, lines, part numbers, quantities produced and any downtime comments. As soon as a record is submitted it needs to land in a SharePoint Online list that you will create and structure for easy reporting in Power BI.

Role-based access is essential. Line operators can add and edit only their own entries, supervisors can review and correct all data for their area, and managers get read-only visibility across the plant. I already have Azure AD groups that can be referenced for the permission model if that helps.

Because the figures will feed several existing Power BI reports, keep the SharePoint columns consistent, use proper data types, and include created / modified metadata. A quick Power Automate flow that triggers an automatic dataset refresh in Power BI after each submission would be a plus.

Deliverables
• Fully functional Power Apps canvas app (source file and published version)
• SharePoint list (or lists) with the agreed column schema and lookup relationships
• Role mapping logic tied to our Azure AD groups
• Optional: Power Automate flow for on-submit refresh
• Short hand-over guide so my internal admin can maintain the solution

Acceptance Criteria
• New records save instantly to SharePoint without errors
• Permissions behave exactly as described for operators, supervisors and managers
• Data appears in our existing Power BI workspace within five minutes of entry
• UI tested on desktop browser and 10″ tablet
