Power Platform Developer

We are an Office 365 consultancy specializing in building innovative business solutions for our clients using the Power Platform and are looking for a Power Platform Developer to join the team and provide expertise and technical support for our clients. In addition, a background in consulting on the Office 365 platform or other cloud solutions is required. You will be responsible for the development of Power Platform applications that optimize and automate our clients’ business processes. This role requires developing business apps using the platform and connecting to data stored in Dataverse or other data sources (SharePoint, Excel, Office 365, SQL Server, etc.)

Responsibilities:
- Develop Office 365 applications using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI,
Dataverse, and SharePoint Online
- Own the design and development of solutions with direction from solution design and
requirements documents
- Demonstrate business value of low code/no code applications and platforms to clients.
- Build custom connectors that integrate with 3rd party APIs such as SalesForce,
ZenDesk, QuickBooks, NetSuite, ADP, etc...
- Demonstrate solutions by creating documentation and communicating with
stakeholders and technical teams to describe product features.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience consulting on the Office 365 Platform.
3+ years of experience developing applications working with Microsoft’s Power Platform.
Understanding of key aspects of the platform, such as Canvas and Model Driven Apps, roles, security, and permissions.
Experience building applications on Dataverse.
Experience automating business processes with Power Automate.
Experience using API custom-connectors within Power Apps/Power Automate.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and operations.
Comfortable using Azure DevOps and source control management tools.
Attention to detail and organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
Knowledgeable and customer-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bonus but Not Required:
Power BI experience; understanding of how to implement BI dashboards with multiple data sources.
Microsoft Power Platform exam certifications.
UI or UX design experience.
General knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
Experience using JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience with front end frameworks (React, Angular).
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services.
