Fix BPF Role Issues in Model-Driven App
Budget: $30 – $90 USD
Project Statement of Work (SOW)
Title: Break-Fix Support for Business Process Flow (BPF) Security Role Issues in Model-Driven Power App
Project Overview
An existing Model-Driven Power App is used for the Employee Onboarding process. The solution includes a Business Process Flow (BPF) with multiple conditional steps. Currently, the BPF conditions do not trigger consistently for all users. The logic functions correctly for only one user, while others experience failures due to suspected security role or access configuration issues.
Scope of Work
The freelancer will be responsible for:
Analyzing, diagnosing, and correcting issues related to Security Roles, User Access, and Business Process Flow (BPF) behavior.
Ensuring all conditions within the BPF trigger as expected for the appropriate user groups.
Conducting a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and providing a documented explanation of the underlying issue and the fix implemented.
Collaborating with the system administrator (myself) who has all necessary environment roles to assist with navigation and validation.
Project Type
This is a break-fix engagement focused solely on restoring expected BPF functionality.
Out of Scope
The following activities are explicitly excluded from this engagement:
Deployment activities or environment migrations
Change requests or redesign of the existing product workflow
Writing, modifying, or reviewing custom code
PowerShell scripting
Application development or developer-level support
Deliverables
Corrected configuration enabling proper BPF triggering for all required users
Documented Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Summary of actions performed to resolve the issue
