CRM data structuring

a project to 1)filter incoming emails from unknown sender if it exists or new. A) if new: create a contact and a record for that contact. B) if exists: create a new record for the existing contact. I have two tables: one for contacts one for record creation. Both are unmanaged/custom. And there is a one to many relationship. I would really appreciation all your help on this. Thanks
