I already run a fixed-dome biogas digester at home and now want to put that gas to work by powering the house itself. The goal is a practical, safe, and efficient system that turns the daily biogas output into steady residential electricity.

Here’s what I need from you:

• A realistic estimate of how much electrical power my current digester can support, based on the gas volume and methane content I’ll share.
• Clear recommendations for the generation set-up—engine or microturbine size, generator head, inverter/charger, and any heat-recovery options—matched to household demand and local grid rules.
• A full schematic that ties together gas scrubbing, pressure regulation, storage (if advised), the genset, switchgear, and the home distribution panel, with safety devices called out.
• A bill of materials I can order locally, including model numbers for the critical components.
• Step-by-step commissioning instructions: first fire-up, load balancing, and routine maintenance schedule.

I work in a rural setting, so keep components serviceable and off-the-shelf where possible. If you use HOMER, PVSyst, or similar sizing software, let me know so I can follow your logic. I’ll supply production logs, gas test results, and site photos once we start.

Deliverables are complete when I have:
