Project Brief for Power BI Dashboard

Objective:
I need a Power BI dashboard that provides an overview of workforce and recruitment metrics for my company. The dashboard should be accurate in its calculations but not overly advanced or complex — it should be simple, clear, and easy to maintain.

Key Requirements:
1. Headcount by Department
• Show the total number of employees in each department.
• Display in both table and chart format (e.g., bar chart or pie chart).
2. Turnover Count
• Show the number of employees who have left the company (turnover) for each department.
• Preferably include a time filter (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
3. Recruitment Budget by Department
• Show the total allocated recruitment budget per department.
• Display both the numeric value and a visual (e.g., bar chart).
4. Data Source
• Use example/mock data with realistic values for this initial version.
• Structure the dashboard so it can be easily linked to real HR data later (from Excel, SQL, or HR software).
5. Design Preferences:
• Clean, professional, and easy to read.
• Clear labels for each department and metric.
• Simple filter panel for selecting departments or time periods.
6. Complexity Level:
• Must be accurate in data representation.
• Avoid overly advanced visuals or features — focus on clarity and essential metrics.

Deliverables:
• Power BI file (.pbix) containing the dashboard.
• Brief guide or notes explaining how to update the data source when switching from mock data to real data.
