SharePoint & Power BI Transformation

Over the next six months I plan to modernise our internal workspace with Microsoft 365, and I’m looking for a developer who can drive both the SharePoint Online rebuild and the Power BI layer that will sit on top of it.

SharePoint Online is the backbone of this effort. You will redesign our current site architecture, spin up modern communication and team sites, apply consistent templates, permissions and metadata, then automate routine processes with Power Automate. Seamless hooks into Microsoft Teams, Outlook and the wider Power Platform are essential so that staff can move between tools without friction.

On the reporting side, I need operational analytics dashboards in Power BI. These dashboards will draw from the freshly structured SharePoint lists and external data sources, surfacing KPIs for production throughput, service ticket volume and process cycle times. The final visuals must be interactive, mobile-friendly and publishable back into SharePoint and Teams.

Key deliverables
• Modern SharePoint site collection with governance guidelines
• Automated workflows replacing current manual steps (Power Automate)
• Integrated Power BI workspace plus at least three operational dashboards
• Technical documentation and a hand-over workshop for our in-house administrators

Acceptance criteria
• Page load times under three seconds on all new sites
• Workflows execute reliably with retry logic and logging
• Dashboards refresh automatically on a scheduled basis with no broken visuals
• All work passes an internal security review and aligns with Microsoft best practices
