Report Automation: Power Bi -- 2
Budget: $10 – $70 USD
Goal: To fully automate and streamline QC Reports
Table Source:100+ SQL Tables. A very sample of three data sets are provided
Tables/Columns Structure: All Tables have different columns and potentially different number of records
Report Requirements:
• Platform: Power BI Desktop and cloud
• Automation: Fully automated processes with quarterly updates
• Programming: DAX
• Due Date: Fully tested and delivered by two weeks from the start date
Report Design:
• The 1500 unique variables across 100 Tables can be grouped into:
o Categorical Variables: Report (Cross tabulation) needs to present basic stats such as Count/Column % and Total by control variable (Site) in an elegant and clean Tables. See Template as an example
o Continuous Variables: Report presents basic stats such as Mean, Median, SD, Range followed by BoxPlot of each variable by control variable (Site) in in an elegant and clean Tables
o Filters: All report should include at least one common Filter (Will be specified later)
o Missing Values: Missing should be excluded from all calculations but should be reported at in the Footprint of the tables
• Report Layouts: Since each Table represents an instrument, it would be ideal to combine both categorical and continuous figures together (See template 2)
• Navigation: Design should facilitate easy navigation for the large amounts of variable thru many pages. Perhaps a menu driven page at the beginning to list Tables
• More details can be discussed when final candidate is hired
• Final Step: A complete walk through of the design and formulas
