Real-Time Operational Power BI Dashboard
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
I need a production-ready Power BI dashboard that surfaces roughly 35 operational KPIs drawn from a sizeable MySQL data store. Because the dashboard will guide day-to-day decisions on the shop floor, it has to refresh in (near) real time rather than on a daily or weekly schedule.
Here is what I am looking for:
• Connect directly to the existing MySQL instance, model the data efficiently, and write any required DAX so each KPI is accurate and fast.
• Design clean, interactive report pages that highlight trends and exceptions at a glance. I have some ideas—bar and line visuals often work well—but I’m open to whatever chart types you feel communicate the story best.
• Optimise performance with techniques such as DirectQuery, incremental refresh, or a hybrid approach so the report stays responsive even under heavy load.
• Set up and test the on-premises gateway (or alternative you recommend) to keep data flowing continuously to the Power BI Service.
• Publish the finished work as a Power BI App within my tenant, organise appropriate workspaces, and apply role-level security so only authorised users see sensitive metrics.
• Provide a short hand-off guide that explains the refresh schedule, connection details, and how to maintain or extend the model.
Acceptance criteria
– All 35 KPIs populate without manual intervention and update automatically within the refresh window we agree.
– Visuals load in under five seconds for a typical end user.
– No data integrity issues when cross-filtering between pages.
– The Power BI App is accessible to my user group with the correct permissions.
If this aligns with your expertise in Power BI, MySQL, and real-time data pipelines, I’m ready to get started right away.
