Power BI Student Insights Dashboard
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a cleaned dataset of 500 students that includes study hours per week, final scores, gender, internet access, parental education, and pass/fail status. I need an interactive Power BI report that turns these numbers into clear, actionable insights.
Scope of work
• Build a landing page that surfaces the three headline KPIs: average score 55.98, pass rate 64.6 %, and average study time 15 hours/week.
• Create a deep-dive page focused on Study Hours vs Final Scores. I prefer bar charts here; clustered or stacked is fine as long as the relationship is obvious.
• Highlight the Weekly Study Hours distribution so users can spot peak-productivity ranges at a glance.
• Add demographic and socioeconomic views that let me compare performance by gender, internet access, and parental education without overwhelming the main story.
• Close with a clear Passed vs Failed breakdown so overall effectiveness is instantly visible.
Interactivity & polish
Slicers for gender, internet access, and parental education should let me filter the entire report. Tooltips, bookmarks, and drill-throughs are welcome if they keep navigation simple. The report needs to load in under five seconds, and all DAX measures must reproduce the KPIs above exactly.
Deliverables
1. The finished .pbix file, fully unlocked.
2. A short PDF or video walkthrough explaining the data model, DAX logic, and navigation.
