Power BI Species Distribution Dashboard

Job ID: 39735037

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have extensive taxonomic datasets—think long, nested lists of kingdoms, families, genera, and species—waiting to be turned into an interactive Power BI dashboard that highlights one thing above all else: clear, actionable species distribution trends. I have the raw tables, but I need your help stitching them together, modelling the hierarchy properly, and designing sleek visuals that let users drill from a high-level world map down to individual species records in just a couple of clicks.

Here is what we would like:
• A clean data dashboard (already designed, just need you to implement)
• Interactive maps and charts that show current and historical distribution patterns
• Intuitive navigation—ideally a landing page with key metrics (total records, biodiversity hotspots, new entries this year) leading into deeper analytical pages.
• Performance tuned so even my very large tables render quickly.

I’ll share sample CSV exports and a brief data dictionary as soon as we start. When it’s ready, I’d like a packaged .pbix plus a short walkthrough video or live session so I can maintain and extend the report on my own.

If you enjoy working with complex hierarchies and have a strong eye for data-driven storytelling, I’d love to see how you would approach this.
