Power BI Sales Dashboard Build

I have several up-to-date Excel workbooks that hold our raw sales data, and I want them transformed into an interactive Power BI dashboard focused squarely on sales performance. The core metrics to surface are:

• Total revenue
• Sales growth over time
• Top-selling products, with the ability to drill down by category or period

Everything sits in Excel today, so the first step will be organising clean data connections and refresh schedules from those files into a single Power BI model. Once that model is solid, I need clear, visually engaging reports—think KPI cards, trend lines, and ranked product visuals—that make it easy for the team to spot patterns and act quickly.

Deliverables
• A fully functional .pbix file connected to my Excel sources
• Any DAX measures or calculated columns used to derive the above KPIs
• A short walkthrough (written or recorded) that explains the layout, filters, and how to refresh the data

Acceptance Criteria
1. The three KPIs display correct figures that reconcile with the original Excel numbers.
2. Filters (date range, product category, region) update every visual instantly and without error.
3. All queries refresh successfully from the Excel workbooks without manual intervention beyond a standard refresh click.

If you’re comfortable building clean data models in Power BI, writing precise DAX, and presenting insights in a way non-analysts can digest at a glance, this should be a straightforward assignment.
