Power BI Operational Dashboard Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m ready to move my raw data into Power BI and turn it into an interactive operational dashboard that management can rely on day-to-day. I already have Power BI running, but I need a specialist who can handle the full data-connection workflow—setting up secure connections to our sources, shaping the data in Power Query, and building a clean, reusable data model before designing the visuals.
You’ll be expected to:
• Configure and authenticate data gateways so my on-prem or cloud-hosted data flows into Power BI without manual exports.
• Handle any required data transformation steps (merging tables, normalizing formats, creating calculated columns, etc.) directly in Power Query or with DAX.
• Build the operational dashboard itself—clear KPIs, drill-through views, and filters that let our team monitor performance in real time.
Acceptance criteria:
1. Data refreshes run automatically on the schedule we agree to, with no errors.
2. All measures match the sample figures I’ll provide, within a 1% margin.
3. The final .pbix file is documented: data sources listed, gateway settings noted, key DAX measures commented.
