Power BI Expert for long term position
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
PowerBI Developer
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
● Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards utilizing multiple data sources e.g., Azure
Data Lake, D365 Data Entity, O365 online excel, etc.
● Creating and maintaining documentation regarding the existing and new PowerBI reports.
● Communicating effectively with business users and internal IT resources.
● Collaborating with business and IT partners in order to identify potential enhancements on
PowerBI reports per business needs.
● Working with the business users to have a clear understanding of business model.
● Working with the business partner to be brought up to speed on all the existing BI reports as they
would eventually be part of PowerBI developer’s responsibilities to maintain and support going
forward.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for the PowerBI Developer position, will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer
science / finance / supply chain / business along with at least four (4) years of experience designing and
supporting BI reports against ERP databases/ semantic layer. However, experience with PowerBI and
understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O ERP data model and Azure Data Lake is a MUST.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
● In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept, and modeling structure principles
● Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling.
● Experience with PowerBI is a MUST to have.
● Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 is a MUST to have.
● Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Working in Agile project teams
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Experience in manufacturing and specially construction is a big plus!
● Semi-local to Killeen, TX or willingness to travel a few times every quarter to cities where our
offices are located.
