Power BI Excel Visualization Dashboard -- 2
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I have several Excel workbooks that I need transformed into a clear, interactive Power BI dashboard focused purely on data visualization. All of the source data will come from these spreadsheets, so you will need to shape and clean them in Power Query, build the data model, and create the necessary DAX measures to drive the visuals.
The outcome I’m after is a single .pbix file that tells the story of the data at a glance—dynamic charts, slicers for easy filtering, and tooltips that highlight the most important metrics. Everything should refresh seamlessly whenever the underlying Excel files are updated. While the current scope is limited to Excel sources, I’d like the model structured cleanly enough that we could plug in SQL or cloud data later without major re-work.
Key deliverables
• Clean and well-documented Power Query steps
• Optimized data model with meaningful relationships and calculated columns/measures in DAX
• A polished report page (or pages) with intuitive navigation and responsive visuals
• The final .pbix plus a short set of notes explaining refresh steps and any custom logic
I’ll provide the Excel files and a rough sketch of the visuals I have in mind once we start. If you’re comfortable leveraging Power Query and DAX to turn raw spreadsheets into an insightful, presentation-ready dashboard, let’s make this happen.
