Job Title: Power BI Dashboard Creation: Excel Data Migration & Automated Reporting
Project Overview:
Our company is seeking a Power BI developer to migrate and visualize a large dataset from a primary Excel file. The goal is to build an interactive dashboard that provides key insights into our [mention your business area, e.g., sales, operations, inventory] performance. The dashboard must be configured for seamless, automated updates to provide a real-time view of our data.
Scope of Work:
Data Ingestion & Transformation: Connect to our Excel file and perform all necessary data cleaning, shaping, and transformation using Power Query to ensure a reliable data source.
Data Modeling: Build a robust and scalable data model within Power BI to support complex analysis and high-performance reporting.
Dashboard Development: Design and create an interactive Power BI dashboard featuring clear and insightful visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, and tables). The dashboard should cater to [mention your audience, e.g., management, team leads] and highlight key trends and metrics.
Automation: Configure a scheduled data refresh to automatically update the dashboard whenever the source Excel file is changed. The freelancer should provide clear documentation on how this automation is set up.
