Power BI & Excel Automation

My current project revolves around transforming scattered data into clear, decision-ready insights. Power BI will take center stage: I need interactive visuals, polished paginated and standard reports, and smooth integration of multiple sources—SQL tables, CSV extracts, and maybe an API or two. A solid command of data modeling, DAX, and gateway configuration is essential so the final .pbix keeps refreshing without hand-holding.

Because many business users still live in spreadsheets, the workflow also calls for strong MS Excel work. You will jump in when quick ad-hoc analysis is required, spin up dynamic dashboards, and write lightweight VBA macros to automate file cleansing and recurring refresh steps before the data heads into Power BI.

Python, SQL scripting, and even Tableau familiarity are bonus skills; they give us flexibility when we need to test calculations, pull data, or mirror visualizations for a different audience.

Deliverables that will mark this job complete:
• A documented Power BI file with relationships, measures, and fully formatted report pages connected to live data sources
• An Excel workbook featuring the requested analyses, dashboards, and working VBA automation scripts
• A brief hand-off guide (markdown or PDF) summarizing data connections, refresh steps, and any Python/SQL snippets used
