Power BI Dynamic Visual based on Role
Budget: $10 – $50 USD
I have a simple Excel table having 5 columns, ~10rows. A "Line and Stacked Column Chart" Visual will be prepared.
Important part is, I have two user groups. "Managers" and "Public".
Column "A": x axis
Column "B": y axis
Column "C": legend
also:
The visual has 2 datafields for "Line Y Axis", lets say Columns "C" and "D" are sources.
"Managers" group will see all, "Public" group will not see "Line" from column "D". Both the line and its legend will not be seen by "Public" users.
Whichever user group is chosen, the visual will not show error state, instead will visualize other 4 columns nicely. This is valid for both Desktop and published reports.
You can use RLS, maybe OLS and / or any DAX code.
I have Power BI Service subscription and the job will be tested by publishing the provided Power BI file.
Preparation time would be a few hours to a day for an experienced guy I guess.
