Overview
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer for a one-month engagement to build analytical dashboards and reports using existing, well-structured database tables. The candidate will work closely with the business and technical teams to translate data into actionable insights and visually compelling dashboards.
No data extraction or ETL work is required — the database and data models are already available. The focus will be on data visualization, DAX modeling, and publishing Power BI dashboards.

Key Responsibilities
• Connect Power BI to the existing SQL / PostgreSQL / AWS Aurora database.
• Design and build interactive dashboards and visual reports based on business KPIs.
• Develop DAX measures, calculated columns, and hierarchies to support analytics.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability (using relationships, aggregations, etc.).
• Work with stakeholders to refine visuals, filters, and layouts for clarity and usability.
• Configure data refresh schedules, gateway connections, and report-level security.
• Document report logic, measure definitions, and publishing steps.
• Deliver final Power BI workspace setup and knowledge transfer at project closure.

Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational data models.
• Expertise in DAX and Power Query (M) for data transformation inside Power BI.
• Experience designing visually intuitive dashboards and reports for business users.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts — relationships, star schema, and filters.
• Ability to deliver within tight timelines (1-month duration).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience integrating Power BI with AWS Aurora / RDS.

• Familiarity with RCM / healthcare / operational metrics dashboards.
• Knowledge of Power Automate for alerting and workflow automation (optional).
