Power BI & Database Integration Expert

I’m looking for someone who can move confidently between a database and Power BI, shaping raw tables into clean, actionable insights. The task begins with reviewing the current data storage setup, establishing a reliable connection into Power BI, and configuring the model so that measures, calculated columns, and refresh schedules run smoothly.
From there, I’ll need clear, visually engaging dashboards that tell the story hidden in the numbers—nothing overly flashy, just accurate, responsive visuals that stand up to ad-hoc queries and executive reviews. Efficient SQL (or relevant query language) tuning is also important, as I want refresh times kept to a minimum even as the dataset grows.
If you’re comfortable optimizing a database schema, defining relationships in Power BI, and translating those structures into easy-to-digest reports, I’d love to hear how you’d approach this project and what kind of timeline you foresee for initial delivery.
