Power BI Data Integration Dashboards -- 2
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I have data scattered across several SQL databases, a collection of Excel workbooks, and a handful of cloud-based platforms. I need you to bring all of those sources together, cleanse them with Power Query, and build a solid star-schema model so I can extract clear business insights—specifically around sales performance, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.
Here’s what a successful engagement looks like from my side:
• Data acquisition & prep
– Connect to each SQL instance, every Excel file, and the designated cloud apps.
– Use Power Query to remove duplicates, standardise formats, and handle any data-quality issues that would compromise accuracy.
• Modelling
– Create fact and dimension tables with meaningful relationships to keep refreshes fast and DAX code lean.
• Visualisation
– Design an interactive Power BI dashboard that surfaces the KPIs above while allowing stakeholders to drill through to detail where needed. Colour palette and layout should feel professional yet approachable.
• Deployment
– Publish the report to my Power BI Service workspace and configure scheduled refresh so the data stays evergreen without manual intervention.
I’ll stay available for quick feedback loops; you’ll have direct access to sample data and a sandbox workspace the moment we kick off. Once the dashboards pass user acceptance testing, I’ll sign off and we can talk about a lightweight handover document so the team can maintain and extend the model on their own.
