Power BI Dashboard From SQL Server

I have a live SQL Server database that I want to surface in an interactive Power BI dashboard. At the moment everything sits in raw tables; there is no existing model, measures, or visuals.

Your task is to connect directly to the SQL Server instance, shape the data in Power Query, build a clean star-schema model, write the necessary DAX, and design a set of clear, mobile-friendly reports. The finished dashboard should refresh on a schedule and be simple enough for non-technical users to filter, slice, and export key metrics to Excel when needed.

I will supply connection details, field definitions, and a short list of business questions the dashboard must answer as soon as we start. If additional calculated columns or lookup tables are required, please create them inside the .pbix so everything remains self-contained.

Deliverables
• A fully-functional .pbix file with data model, measures, and visuals
• Documentation (1–2 pages) outlining data flow, DAX logic, and refresh steps
• A brief hand-off call or screen-share so I can verify everything and ask final questions
