Power BI E-Commerce Sales Dashboard
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have an ongoing e-commerce dataset and I want to turn it into a clear, interactive Power BI dashboard that quickly tells the story of our sales performance.
The core focus is on Revenue and Profit, and I’d like users to be able to slice those numbers by Product Category and by any chosen Time Period (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-to-date). While the initial scope is e-commerce, please structure your data model so it can accommodate other sales streams later without major rework.
Deliverables I need from you:
• A cleaned, well-documented Power Query or SQL step that prepares the raw sales export for reporting.
• A star-schema data model inside Power BI that keeps refresh times fast.
• A set of visually consistent report pages highlighting overall revenue, profit margin, trend lines, top/bottom products, and a drill-through view for category-level detail.
• Interactive slicers for product category and flexible time intelligence (including comparison to previous periods).
• Written notes or a short Loom walkthrough explaining how to refresh the data and extend the report.
I’ll consider the project complete once I can refresh the file with a new data dump, see the KPIs update accurately, and navigate the report smoothly without broken visuals. If you have proven experience with DAX optimisation and clean UI design, I’d love to see a sample of your previous work when you bid.
