Power BI Azure DevOps Coaching
Budget: £36 – £0 GBP
I have a live Azure DevOps project and need coaching turning its Work Items and Tasks into a clear, refreshable dashboard in Power BI. I’m still at the beginner stage, so the engagement is equal parts coaching with me hands-on build via screenshare
Here’s what I have in mind:
– We connect over a screenshare, pull the data from Azure DevOps (API or OData), model it together in Power BI Desktop, and decide on the right visuals on the spot.
– The exact chart types are open; we will choose them collaboratively during the session so I understand why each visual works for the story I’m telling.
– By the end I want a working .pbix file with an automated refresh path and enough guidance to tweak or extend it on my own.
Acceptance criteria
• One interactive dashboard page summarising current Work Item status, effort, and progress.
• Data source linked directly to my Azure DevOps instance and set to refresh without manual exports.
• A brief hand-over note (or recorded walkthrough) so I can reproduce the steps later.
If you’re comfortable teaching as you build and can navigate Power Query, DAX, and Azure DevOps endpoints fluidly, let’s schedule a session.
