Power BI & Admin Support
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I balance several small datasets every week and need a reliable hand for three intertwined jobs—building clear Power BI visuals, keeping the underlying spreadsheets accurate, and taking care of day-to-day admin overflow.
On the analytics side, you’ll clean raw Excel and CSV files in Power Query, write DAX where needed, and publish interactive dashboards in Power BI Service so my team can filter results and spot trends instantly. Data sources must refresh automatically; nothing manual after setup.
While models are loading, you’ll handle the supporting data entry: updating source sheets, tagging new records, removing duplicates, and filling in any missing fields with information I supply. Accuracy and speed matter here because these files feed directly into the reports.
General admin work rounds out the role—organising OneDrive folders, tracking task lists, scheduling quick meetings, or researching small items that pop up during the week. Think of it as keeping the back office tidy so the analytics stay trustworthy.
Deliverables
• Clean .pbix file with working refresh connections
• At least two shareable dashboards published to my workspace
• Source spreadsheets updated and error-free
• Short weekly change log covering admin actions
Tools I already use: Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Excel 365, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams.
If you have solid Power Query and DAX experience, fast typing skills, and a knack for smooth admin workflows, this should be straightforward. Let me know your typical weekday availability and how soon you could start on the first dataset.
