Power BI API Integration Assistance
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I need a Power BI expert to hook up a custom API that uses an API-key for authentication, fold it cleanly into a query, and make sure the resulting dataset feeds my automated reports without manual refreshes. The exact payload isn’t a standard “financial / sales / customer” schema, so you’ll be working with a bespoke structure; once it’s connected I should be able to schedule refreshes and let Power BI handle the reporting end-to-end.
The job happens on my machine via remote session because I want to watch the steps and keep the key private. Expect to:
• Build or refine the M code so the call authenticates, paginates if needed, and lands in a tidy table.
• Set up any required parameters or gateway configuration for scheduled refresh.
• Walk me through the solution live so we can test, debug, and confirm the reports update automatically.
When we’re done I’ll have one .pbix file with the working query plus clear notes on anything I’ll need to maintain it. This is a high-priority task, so please be ready to jump in and screen-share as soon as we agree on timing.
