Power BI API Dashboard Build connected API
Budget: $2 – $8 CAD
I have a live API delivering customer data that I need visualised in Power BI right away. The goal is a single, refresh-ready report that pulls the JSON feed directly, models the fields, and presents the key customer metrics as clean, interactive line charts.
Here’s what success looks like from my side:
• A PBIX file with the REST API connection set up (parameterised URL and credentials) and scheduled refresh tested.
• A simple data model using Power Query/M and DAX where needed, keeping calculated columns and measures tidy and well-named.
• Line-chart visuals that track customer growth, activity, churn, or any other time-series fields exposed by the endpoint, with slicers for date ranges and customer segments.
• Brief documentation (or in-report notes) showing the connection steps so I can edit the credentials or endpoints later.
I’m aiming for an ASAP turnaround, so if you’re comfortable with Power BI, REST APIs, and quick iteration, you’ll be a good fit.
