Operational Power BI Dashboard Design
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I need a Power BI specialist who can turn several work-in-progress reports into a single, clean operational dashboard that managers can open each morning and instantly know how the business is running. The data model is already in place; what’s missing is a thoughtful user experience—balanced layout, consistent alignment, purposeful white space, and a color palette that guides the eye without overwhelming it.
The main objective is operational reporting, so every visual should prioritize speed of interpretation for frontline leaders: think instant status checks rather than deep-dive analysis. Although we do not have formal branding guidelines, I still want the finished piece to feel cohesive and professional. You are free to propose colors, typography, and iconography that fit a modern, enterprise look; once approved, apply that style consistently across all pages.
Deliverables:
• A polished .pbix file containing the redesigned dashboard, fully interactive and optimized for desktop and web view
• A brief style sheet (colors, fonts, visual rules) so future reports can follow the same visual language
• Handover notes outlining any custom DAX, bookmarks, or navigation tricks used
Success criteria: the first draft should load in under five seconds on a typical laptop, key visuals must remain legible at 100 % zoom, and managers unfamiliar with Power BI should be able to grasp the story in under one minute.
If you have a portfolio that shows similar operational dashboards, especially those where you owned the end-to-end visual redesign, please share a link. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on the visual direction and timeline.
