Multi-Sector KPI Dashboards in Power BI
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am implementing a performance-management framework across seven sectors—Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Strategy & Performance, Program & Performance, and Business Development & Strategic Partnerships—and need a Power BI expert to turn our model into clear, actionable dashboards.
Data & structure
• Each sector already has tiered Objectives → KPIs, both with assigned weights.
• Historical data is complete through September 2024, with projections loaded from January 2025 to September 2025.
• For Q4 2024 (Oct-Dec) end-users inside each sector will manually enter their actual KPI figures; everything else should refresh automatically.
• I will supply the exact formulas for score and weighted-score calculations.
What I need from you
1. Build seven sector workspaces in Power BI Service where authorised users can input those Q4 numbers.
2. Design one interactive dashboard per sector that shows performance by KPI and Objective at Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Year, and Year levels, plus MoM, QoQ, HoH, and YoY variance visuals.
3. Create an aggregated corporate dashboard that rolls the weighted results up across all sectors, highlighting contributions and gaps.
4. Optimise the data model and DAX so score calculations update instantly when new values are entered.
5. Publish and secure everything with appropriate row-level security so each team sees only its own workspace while leadership sees the corporate view.
Acceptance criteria
• All eight dashboards load in under five seconds.
• Manual entry of a single KPI value triggers correct recalculation of sector and corporate scores.
• Variance figures (MoM, QoQ, HoH, YoY) match provided control totals.
• Layout follows our brand palette and passes a quick handover session with the sector leads.
> Allow a space for the end user to provide the insights in case of a degredation or increasing and overachivemnet of a KPI and/or objective(s) in each
> in each each sector dashboard, I need see the top (4 to5) achived KPIs, and objectives with its insights and the key risks, and issues with its status
>- in the main dashboard (landing Page), i need to see the top (4 to5) achived KPIs, and objectives with its insights and the key risks, and issues with its status
> this is an urgent project and need to be fully delivery and accepted within 10 days
