Multi-Industry Power BI Dashboard
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have raw data in Excel/CSV format and need it transformed into an interactive Power BI dashboard that can speak to three main lines of business—retail, IT services, and e-commerce. The first release should concentrate on sales performance and a core set of business metrics (revenue trends, average order value, conversion rates, and any other KPIs you feel will illuminate overall health). While those are the immediate priorities, the underlying model should remain flexible enough to extend later to finance or healthcare data without a full rebuild.
Here’s how I picture the flow:
• Clean and shape the spreadsheets with Power Query, set up a star-schema model, and create calculated columns/measures in DAX that capture the sales and operational KPIs mentioned above.
• Design a visually consistent set of report pages—executive snapshot, deep-dive sales analysis, and a drill-through detail view—using slicers for time periods, product categories, and customer segments. Branded colour palette and responsive layouts are important so the report looks sharp on both desktop and mobile.
• Package the .pbix file with clear naming, include a short README (or comments in the model) explaining measures and data refresh steps, and optionally record a quick Loom or Teams video walk-through to speed up hand-over.
Acceptance criteria
1. Dashboard opens without errors against sample data.
2. All listed KPIs calculate correctly when filters change.
3. No hard-coded file paths—relative or parameterised connections only.
4. Visuals meet basic accessibility: alt text, contrasting colours, legible fonts.
