Manufacturing Power BI Dashboard

I have several Excel workbooks that capture our end-to-end manufacturing process and I need them turned into a single, insightful Power BI dashboard. The data covers production volumes, quality control metrics and supply-chain information, and I want all three areas displayed clearly in one place.

Beyond simply visualising the numbers, I’m looking for useful analytics: trend analysis to spot shifts over time, KPI cards for quick health checks and comparative views that let me stack one line, shift or plant against another. You can assume the usual production KPIs (throughput, OEE, defect-rate %, on-time delivery) but feel free to suggest additional measures if they add value.

Key requirements
• Connect Power Query to multiple Excel files (local or OneDrive) and clean, merge and normalise the tables.
• Build DAX measures for all KPIs plus week-over-week and month-over-month comparisons.
• Design an interactive report with slicers for plant, line, product family and date range; visuals must load quickly and look good on both a shop-floor screen and in the Power BI Service.
• Provide the finished .pbix file and a short hand-off note describing the data model, refresh settings and any custom calculations.
