Interactive Power BI Sales Dashboard

I have sales data sitting in a set of Excel workbooks and I need an interactive Power BI dashboard that lets me drill straight into sales-by-category performance. The core dataset will come exclusively from those Excel files for now, but I’d like the model structured so I can bolt on other sources—such as our SQL database or Google Analytics—without a total rebuild down the road.

Key requirements
• Transform the Excel sheets into a clean data model (dimensional where helpful)
• Visualise category performance with line graphs as the primary view; complementary visuals are welcome if they add insight
• Enable quick filtering by timeframe, product line and region so trends are obvious at a glance
• Keep refresh simple: a one-click or scheduled refresh that pulls the latest Excel drops into the report

Deliverables
1. A PBIX file with all queries, measures and visuals fully documented in-line
2. A published workspace report (or .pbit template if you prefer) ready for my Power BI Service tenant
3. A short loom or written handbook that shows how to refresh the data and extend the model with new sources

Acceptance criteria
• Numbers in the dashboard match my control totals in Excel to within 0.1%
• Line-graph view loads in under three seconds on first open
• Slicer interactions update all visuals with no errors
