AI- Injury Claims Management System Development

Project: National AI-Powered Claims Management System (Power Apps + Dataverse)
Overview:
We are a contractor operating across all Australian states and territories. We want to build a centralised claims and injury management system in Microsoft Power Apps, with Dataverse as the backend, integrated with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
The system should automate and simplify claims management across all jurisdictions (NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, NT, ACT, and Comcare) with built-in AI assistance.
Core Requirements (MVP):
Power Apps Canvas App for claims case management.
Dataverse tables for: Cases, Workers, Insurers, Medical Certificates, Payments, Tasks, Documents.
Automated case intake (manual entry for MVP, expandable to email/document ingestion).
Jurisdiction-aware compliance rules (start with 1–2 states, scalable to all).
Case task generation (deadlines, forms, notices).
Document upload and structured field capture.
Integration with Microsoft Teams (notifications, summaries).
Power BI dashboard for national reporting.
Phase 2 (Next Stage):
AI document extraction (medical certs, invoices) via Azure Document Intelligence.
AI-powered communication drafts (worker updates, insurer correspondence).
Predictive analytics (forecast case duration/cost).
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) bot for compliance queries (e.g., “What’s the NSW notice deadline?”).
Deliverables:
Functional MVP Power App (Canvas App + Dataverse backend).
Basic compliance task automation for 1–2 jurisdictions.
User roles and access control (RTW Coordinators, Managers).
Documentation (data model, workflows, user guide).
Scalable architecture for future AI integration.
Must-Haves:
Experience with Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Familiarity with Australian workers’ compensation systems (preferred, not mandatory).
Strong understanding of data security and compliance (APPs, health data).
Bonus:
Azure AI / OpenAI integration experience.
Previous work in HSE, claims, or compliance systems.
Target MVP delivery: 6–8 weeks.
