Financial Reporting Power BI Dashboard
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have an existing dataset already living inside Power BI and I now need a clean, interactive dashboard that turns those numbers into meaningful financial insights for my team members. The goal is to give them a single page (with drill-through detail where it makes sense) that tracks revenue, expenses, cash flow, variance against budget, and any other standard finance KPIs you normally see.
You will be working entirely in Power BI—no additional SQL, Excel, or cloud connectors are involved—so expect to shape, model, and visualise the data directly within that environment. I’ll grant you access to the workspace along with a brief on our account structure and current measures. From there I’d like you to:
• Design an intuitive layout that works both on desktop and in the Power BI mobile app.
• Apply best-practice DAX for calculated measures, ensuring performance stays snappy.
• Incorporate slicers (date, department, cost centre) and drill-through pages so team members can self-serve deeper analysis.
• Set up clear, colour-coded visuals and tooltips that highlight trends and exceptions without clutter.
• Deliver the PBIX file plus a short hand-off note that explains key measures and how to refresh or extend the model.
I’ll be available for quick feedback cycles, and the work is complete once the dashboard is published to our workspace and matches the acceptance criteria above.
