Excel Pivot to Power BI

I have a locally stored Excel workbook that contains a financial-data Pivot Table. My goal is to move away from the static worksheet and make the figures available inside Power BI so I can build live dashboards and share them company-wide.

Here’s what I need from you:

• Take the existing Pivot Table and restructure the underlying data model so it works cleanly in Power BI—preferably in a star schema where possible.
• Preserve every measure, calculated field, and filter currently used in the Excel view, translating them to DAX if required.
• Deliver a Power BI file (.pbix) that automatically refreshes from the updated Excel source, along with concise documentation outlining the data-refresh steps.

Acceptance will be based on side-by-side comparisons confirming that totals, subtotals, and calculated ratios match the original Pivot Table exactly.
