Dynamic Power BI KPI Dashboard

Job ID: 40365765

Budget: $15 – $25 CAD

I need a seasoned Power BI developer to turn a very large, highly-granular data set into a single, dynamic dashboard focused on monitoring key operational-efficiency KPIs.

Here’s the landscape you will step into: our raw information sits in both SQL databases and a series of regularly exported Excel/CSV files. I want a model that connects to each source, transforms the data so that it’s truly analysis-ready, and then visualises the metrics that matter—cycle times, throughput, bottleneck alerts, utilisation rates and any supporting drill-downs we decide to add.

Scope of work
• Build or optimise the data model, including merge logic between SQL and CSV tables, DAX measures, and relationships that guarantee a fast, responsive user experience even when the data volumes climb.
• Design an intuitive, visually clean dashboard with slice-and-dice interactivity: date ranges, business unit filters, and real-time status indicators.
• Configure automated refresh schedules and document any gateway or credential steps so maintenance is painless for my internal team.
• Package the final .pbix file and a short walkthrough video or PDF so that anyone on our side can extend or tweak visuals confidently.

Acceptance criteria
The dashboard must load in under five seconds on a standard laptop, each KPI card should update correctly when a filter is applied, and refresh jobs must complete without manual intervention.

If you are comfortable wrangling mixed sources, writing efficient DAX and delivering a polished analytic experience, let’s discuss timelines and any clarifications you need.
