Comprehensive Power BI Financial Dashboard
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
The goal is to transform our raw financial extracts into a single, interactive Power BI report that financial analysts can explore without touching spreadsheets. In one layered view I need revenue-and-expense trends, balance-sheet breakdowns, and cash-flow movements, all tied together by a custom-designed income-statement visual that highlights margins and variances in a style closer to a traditional report than to a default Power BI matrix.
I will provide trial balances and transactional data in Excel; you will handle the modelling, create the DAX measures, and build relationships so that every figure reconciles across the three statements. For visuals, please rely mainly on bar charts, pie charts, and line graphs, then blend in the bespoke income-statement layout so that users can drill from consolidated figures to account-level detail. Slicers by period, entity, and cost centre should allow quick scenario cuts, and tooltips need to surface key ratios automatically. Also need a custome design financial report. Would be better to do a one to one session how you write complex DAX formula for my understanding.
Deliverables
• A fully functional .pbix file with clean data model, measures, and the requested visuals
• A short walkthrough (video or annotated PDF) so analysts understand the logic, filters, and how to refresh the data
Acceptance is based on every statement tying back to the source totals, no broken visuals when filters change, and load times that stay snappy on a standard laptop. If you have sample work that shows similar custom statement layouts, that will speed up selection.
