Beginner Power BI Course Creation

I’m putting together a complete Power BI course aimed squarely at absolute beginners and I want the learning experience to be hands-on from the very first click. Rather than traditional videos or long PDFs, the content will live inside interactive modules that guide learners through real datasets and step-by-step exercises, so they can practice as they progress.
Here’s what I have in mind: a clear, well-paced curriculum that starts with installing Power BI Desktop, moves through data loading and modelling, then finishes with publishing and simple dashboard sharing. Because I’m not working against a hard deadline, we’ll have the freedom to iterate and polish each section until it feels intuitive and engaging.
Deliverables
• Course outline broken into logical beginner-friendly units
• Interactive lessons built in your preferred tool (e.g., Power BI Service, Power Apps, Articulate, or custom web component)
• Sample datasets and solution files for every exercise
• Short knowledge checks or quizzes embedded inside each module
• A brief facilitator guide so future instructors know how to support learners

• Every lesson must run end-to-end without errors in the current version of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Screenshots, tooltips, and written prompts match the UI learners actually see.
• Quizzes auto-grade and provide explanations for wrong answers.
