Smartsheet to Excel/SharePoint Migration
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am moving multiple Smartsheet workspaces—each built from a common template—into our Microsoft 365 stack. This is a straight-up software migration, not a one-off export: every sheet, report and dashboard has to be rebuilt so the team can keep working exclusively inside Excel and SharePoint.
Although the source data is templated, the destination files need significant changes to fit the new environment. That means:
• Re-creating (and, where useful, optimizing) all formulas and cross-sheet calculations so they work natively in Excel.
• Matching or improving the original formatting and layout so the sheets feel familiar to current users.
• Replacing Smartsheet automations with SharePoint-friendly options—Power Automate flows, VBA or other lightweight scripts—so alerts, approvals and scheduled tasks continue without disruption.
Acceptance is complete when every legacy sheet is available in the specified SharePoint libraries, calculations return the same results as before, and automations trigger as expected during a live walk-through.
