I need my SharePoint site to start doing the routine work for me. The focus is on automating two things that still happen by email and spreadsheets today:
• Approval processes (straight-through, multi-step with conditional routing)
• Scheduled report generation that lands in the right library with notifications
I already built draft templates inside an older site collection, so you will not be starting from a blank slate—just refine, wire-up, and migrate them to the current environment. Everything sits on Microsoft 365, so feel free to lean on Power Automate, SharePoint Designer, or any modern workflow tool that keeps it native to the platform.
Please make sure the final solution:
• Runs completely in the tenant without external dependencies
• Logs each step for easy audit-tracking
• Lets me tweak approvers or timing without rewriting the whole flow
