SharePoint Task & Issue PowerApp
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I run a five-person team and need a single Power Apps canvas app—built on SharePoint—that lets us manage both day-to-day tasks and ad-hoc issues in one place while keeping an admin-only area for configuration.
Core workflow
• Tasks: team members must be able to receive task assignments, update status, and see clear due-date reminders. I also need a lightweight reporting view that rolls those updates into simple charts so I can track individual performance over time.
• Issues: the same app should let anyone log an issue, choose its priority, and follow it through to resolution. I’d like a quick toggle to flag anything that has to be discussed in our weekly meeting.
Security & access
• Five named users plus myself. Each user signs in with Microsoft 365 credentials.
• One hidden admin screen where I can add new task/issue categories, adjust reminder intervals, and pull exportable reports; no one else should see it.
Data & automation
Everything should sit on SharePoint lists, with Power Automate flows driving the reminder emails notifications and weekly flagged-issue digests. If a premium connector is absolutely required, call it out before development starts.
Deliverables
1. Canvas app (.msapp) packaged with the SharePoint list templates and flows
2. Short setup guide for installing to our tenant
3. Recorded demo run-through showing the admin controls in action
Acceptance criteria: the app installs cleanly in our test site, each function above works end-to-end, and the admin screen is visible only to 2 persons
