SharePoint-Azure Approval Workflow
Budget: ₹10,000 – ₹50,000 INR
I want a clean, fully automated document-approval workflow that lives in SharePoint Online and is orchestrated through Azure (Logic Apps or Power Automate—use whatever suits the job best).
Here is the scenario:
• The moment a file is uploaded to a specific SharePoint library, the flow must fire automatically.
• That upload should launch a multi-stage approval process. Approvers will be pulled from an existing SharePoint group; once everyone signs off, the file is marked Approved and its status column updated.
• While the document is in review, each approver must receive an email (and ideally a Teams notification) with a direct link to the file and an Approve / Reject action.
• Rejections should capture comments and loop back to the requester.
• All steps need to be logged in a SharePoint list for audit purposes.
Deliverables
1. Azure or Power Automate workflow file(s) ready to import.
2. SharePoint list/library configuration script or clear step-by-step guide.
3. Brief documentation: field mappings, approval stages, how to add new approvers.
Acceptance criteria
• Uploading a document triggers the flow every time, with no manual intervention.
• Approvers receive actionable notifications and can complete the task from email or Teams.
• Audit list shows timestamps, user names, and decision outcomes.
• Solution is deployed and tested in my tenant with me on a screen-share.
If you have done similar SharePoint + Azure automations, I’d love to see a quick example or walk-through of your approach.
