Senior SharePoint Developer for Dashboard Creation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are looking for a senior SharePoint freelancer (SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365) who is highly experienced in building SharePoint-based data structures, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards.
Goal: Create a Group Marketing Dashboard with:
One overall Group overview
Separate, clickable dashboards per entity (each entity can view its own KPI page, plus Group leadership can see the consolidated overview)
Scope / What we need
SharePoint data model
Create SharePoint Lists (or improve existing ones) to store marketing KPI data
KPI categories:
Website KPIs (users/visits, sessions, engagement, conversions if available)
SEO (impressions, clicks, rankings / GSC metrics if feasible)
SEA (spend, clicks, conversions if feasible)
Social Media performance (LinkedIn etc.)
PR & Media (publications, reach, links, mentions)
Entity structure: Each KPI must be assignable to an entity / business unit and time period (monthly).
Automation / data collection
Build Power Automate flows for:
Data intake (forms or structured list entry)
Data validation / reminders
Optional: connecting data sources where feasible (e.g., scheduled import via Excel/CSV, email parsing, API options if available)
Power BI Reporting
Build a Power BI report connected to SharePoint Lists
Dashboard requirements:
Landing page with Group overview
Clickable navigation to entity pages
Filters: entity, month/quarter/year, KPI category
Clean management-ready layout (simple, readable, consistent)
Publish and embed in SharePoint (SharePoint Online)
Governance / usability
Permissions concept (who can see which entity, who sees Group)
Short documentation + handover (how to maintain KPI lists, how to add new entity/KPI, troubleshooting)
Deliverables
SharePoint Lists structure (with proper columns, views, and data types)
Power Automate flows (documented)
Power BI report/dashboard with entity drill-down / navigation
Setup guide + handover session (online)
Requirements (must have)
Proven experience with SharePoint Online + Power Automate + Power BI
Strong understanding of data modeling for dashboards
Ability to propose the cleanest approach (simple + scalable)
Fluent English (German is a plus)
Timing
ASAP – please confirm your earliest start date and estimated timeline.
To apply, please include

Any assumptions/needs from our side (licenses, access, data sources)

Screening questions :
Describe a similar SharePoint + Power BI dashboard you built (what lists, what KPIs, how navigation worked).
How would you structure SharePoint Lists to support Group + entity-level reporting (monthly KPIs)?
How would you implement permissions (entity-only vs Group overview)?
What is your earliest start date, and how many hours/week can you allocate?
Do you recommend importing data manually, via Excel upload, or via automation? Why?
